OUR BEGINNINGS
Established in Hong Kong 1953, Camay was founded by Mr wan Yuk Yiu and the business remains in the family to this day. We began by selling jeans and workwear through mediators then in the 60s expanded into a booming childrenswear market, the result of post war population growth and economic prosperity in developed nations. The rise in intercontinental air travel in the 1980s made it possible to easily work directly with retailers and this together with opportunities in a newly emerging China drove our rapid development and expansion into additional product areas.

NOW
We source and manufacture a wide range of garments and accessories for retailers and brands around the globe. Our dedicated knit, casual-woven and smart-woven teams take pride in their ability to interpret and develop designs and trends. Our main market is Europe where we work with a broad spectrum of customers while our business with Asia and the Americas focuses more on niche brands and products.

With the spectacular rise and expansion of manufacturing centres in China and Asia in the past three decades we are proud to stay true to our roots and remain headquartered in Hong Kong, where dedicated teams provide client service and oversee on site experts in the various Chinese provinces in which we operate

We have a long-standing business relationship with Studio Soho in London who provide design services which can be utilised to complement our manufacturing role.
